Overview

Lafesta is a complex shopping mall mainly focused on pedestrian in which peple can experience street culture and shopping. This is one of the leading examples of a street formed multi-complex commercial facility with distinctive building appearance and all sorts of cultural events and street concerts. This 300m long mall is divided into three sections, each having its own spatial character and theme. The main square where people have most access to is in a semi oval shape to give an image of a beach. The second node of the mall section is extended to the end, forming a considerably large inner square. This section has an image of a lake which occasionally makes it a resting area and a festive place. To make the people more joyful, an image of water is applied to the festival as its main theme, and a safe and lively space with energetic streets are applied as well to bring a fancy and glamorous theme.
