The ASML Hwaseong Campus is located southeast of the Dongtan Interchange, directly facing the Gyeongbu Expressway, a major transportation corridor. Responding to this urban and architectural context, the building was conceived with a distinctive design that sets it apart from its surroundings. To reflect the identity of ASML Korea as a key player in the semiconductor industry, the façade draws inspiration from the wiring patterns of semiconductor chips. Deep, inclined vertical louvers integrated into the building envelope mitigate highway noise while softly diffusing natural light into the interior. The refined curtain wall façade opens toward a nearby hillside park, offering expansive views of the surrounding urban landscape.
