The Korea Development Bank (KDB) Digital Square, which represents its own value of sustainability, is located on the riverside of the Han River in Hanam City. The project is to design the second headquarters building of KDB and is composed of an office, that symbolizes a solid form of a light cube, the podium. These three elements are a communication platform acting as an open campus, and the data center, which represents an eco-friendly sustainable IT platform. To maximize the benefits of the riverside, the office building is located to the south and in parallel to the data center in order to give a 270-degree panoramic view of the river and the green spaces of the institute. Also, the buildings are separated from each other to prevent disturbance of the view path and the river from the residential area in the west.
