Shinsegae Central City is the largest mixed-use lifestyle and cultural complex in Korea, located in the heart of the country’s commercial district in Gangnam. This multifunctional facility integrates the Honam Line Express Bus Terminal, Shinsegae Department Store, Marriott Hotel, and a shopping mall. Serving as a key public transportation hub, it connects the express bus terminal with Subway Lines 3, 7, and 9. The duty-free store is located from B1 to the second floor, requiring seamless circulation across multiple levels, including the second floor facing the hotel, the first floor connected to the bus terminal, and B1 directly linked to the subway. In particular, B1 required a dedicated entrance for bus tour visitors, necessitating a design that ensured both smooth circulation between facilities and enhanced security measures.
