Overview
Setting up high-class facilities in this site was possible considering the existence of various uses found in hinterland, and the fact that the income level of residents is high. Meanwhile, some other elements such as the point that access of public transportation is hard and the fact that a large-scale shopping facility will be built are corresponded to make a ‘Cultural Commercial Facility’. Small scale buildings are gathered and streets for pedestrians are naturally formed in between these buildings, to make the whole district an attraction by giving each building its own unique character. For each block, SD-5 block is given ‘Lifestyle Center’, SD-6 block is given ‘Off-Broadway’, and SD-7 is given ‘Art Market’, adjusting its introductory facility and design details. The street inside the block has its own spatial boundary blocked by the upper part and has its own identity as a commercial space. The integrated ‘large space’ gives a revitalized atmosphere by various themed plazas, kiosks, and more.
