Overview

The location of the site is at a park which operates as an open space to the people from the surrounding crowded residential area. The Museum of Art that is to be built in the site hoped to naturally blend in with the open space rather than being an obstacle. The plan began from the suggestion of creating a building that looks a piece of artwork to act as a part of the park rather than having a rough rectangular concrete building. To apply a regional characteristic, the landscape that has the ridge and rock of Dobong Mountain is metaphorically expressed, and the visitors are naturally attracted to participate and experience the harmonized Park and Museum.
