Overview

The National Institute of Marine Biological Resources is taken from the motive of the geographical and ecological variety of Seocheon. To actualize this, it is planned based on three design strategies of Making the Landscape of Mud Flat, Making the Landscape of Landmark, and Making the Landscape of Various Culture. It created a ‘Breathing Scape’ where people can blend in with nature and buildings under the concept of variety, so that the National Institute of Marine Biological Resources can become the hub of biological research and regional culture. The proposed design has an image of a wave and a form that has no boundaries with surrounding regions.
