Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Autonics R&D Center aimed to combine Incheon Songdo Research Center and Headquarter in Busan along with the construction of Magok R&D Center and to establish a smart-work center nurturing new talents through communication and a flexible organizational culture. The R&D Center can improve the immersion level of the tasks by providing users with compact work spaces as the base of the cutting-edge research. The design introduced a community space where researchers, both R&D- and marketing-based, can engage in continuous exchange and collaboration. The layout induces free communication among researchers, which represents the innovative corporate value of Autonics R&D Center, by clearly separating work space, laboratory and auxiliary facility and connecting the rooftop garden with the green belt. In addition, the application of the CI design consistent with the pattern on the front projecting the display segment aimed to express the pride of the corporation representing communication and innovation.
