The Cancer & Biomedical Research Center at Chungbuk National University Hospital marks the beginning of its role as a key tertiary center for the Chungbuk region. Designed with a focus on site-specific expansion and seamless integration with existing facilities, the project introduces a new lobby that connects old and new buildings, serving as the hospital’s new face. The massing enhances openness and aligns with the hospital’s visual axis, while the façade design echoes the horizontal lines of the existing architecture, ensuring a cohesive overall appearance.
