Overview

It is an advanced bio-science infrastructure that can study toxic and viral diseases and organ transplants using "minipig," an animal species that is biologically similar to humans. The minipig and infectious animal research building, which has not yet been activated in Korea, was established through overseas benchmarking and collecting specialized data. The first floor was divided into general zones and clean zones to respond to the characteristics of each test. The SPF Zone on the second floor designed a bio-clean room that meets the requirements for GLP certification. In addition, the movement of researchers and the movement of goods were clearly distinguished. And Bridge of long span was connected for connection with existing complex. The facade was planned in consideration of the harmony with the existing building group and the surrounding natural landscape.
