New Gangbuk-Gu Government Office Complex Wins 1st Place in 2025 Seoul Architectural Committee Design Awards.

The New Gangbuk-Gu Government Office Complex, designed by HAEAHN Architecture, was awarded 1st Place in the Public Architecture category at the 2025 Seoul Architectural Committee Design Awards. In addition, The Step, the Sogong District Remodeling Project, was selected 5th in the General Architecture category. Organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the award recognizes exemplary architectural designs through a combination of expert evaluation and public voting.

Inspired by the design concept Three scenes of Gangbuk, the New Gangbuk-Gu Government Office Complex proposes a new model for civic architecture that connects nature, the city, and everyday public life. Meanwhile, 'The Step' reinterprets the historical context of Sogong-dong through a contemporary urban intervention, creating a new pedestrian and green network within the dense urban fabric.
