Located off the main avenue and next to a lake, KT Songpa Headquarters comprised of newly built premium office and commercial F&B facilities. Haeahn Architecture started with a question of how to make a relationship between the three key landscapes in the area: First, the charming Seokchon Lake capturing the beauty of nature; second, the bustling street in the northeast direction where Olympic-ro and Ogeum-ro intersect, and third, masses of buildings such as Lotte World Tower and other commercial facilities. Office facilities and the arcade in lower floors were connected via multiple floors, and decks and open spaces along the way allow occupants to enjoy the life of business, pleasure and nature from Seokchon Lake. In order to avoid the hecticness of the city and retain a simple design against the lake, Haeahn Architecture planned a façade with minimal doors whose glass panels reflecting varying landscapes would express a feel of solidness. The design, inspired by the wave of Seokchon Lake, has a simple and clear visibility in downtown Seoul.
