After graduating from the College of Architecture at Myongji University, Hongyeon Choi worked at Danu Architects & Association to execute various projects, including KTX Daejeon Station, Gangbuk-gu Complex Gymnasium, SNU The Center for Educational Research, Konkuk University Industry-University Collaboration Center, the International Pavilion of EXPO Yeosu, among others. Since joining Haeahn Architecture in 2009, Choi has accumulated differentiated designs for competitions through projects, including the Korea Electric Power Corporation Headquarters Competition, Seoul Gocheok-dong Cultural Facility, the National Museum of Art and Contemporary Art, and the Presidential Archives. Presently, Choi is designing private-sector complex development projects highlighting business, accommodation, commercial facilities, and knowledge industry centers. Based on various projects, she is making the best effort to make each project a special place to implement the vision of Haeahn Architecture.
