The Korea Development Bank (KDB) Digital Square, which represents it’s own value of sustainability, is located in the riverside of Han River in Hanam City. The project is to design the second headquarter building of KDB which is composed of an office, that symbolizes a solid form of light cube, the podium, which is a communication platform acting as an open campus, and the data center, which represents an eco-friendly sustainable IT platform. To maximize the benefits of the river side, the office building is located at the south and in parallel of the data center in order to give a 270 degree panoramic view of the river and the green spaces of the institute. Also the buildings are separated from each other to prevent disturbance of the view path and the river from the residential area in the west.
