IBS(Institute for Basic Science) KAIST Campus, located in Daejeon KAIST Campus, is based on the open space philosophy of ‘creative’ and ‘truth’. It aims to realize a comprehensive research space that accommodates diverse needs in the field of basic science and can creatively study basic science through user-to-user communication and exchange. Through the proposal of “Convergence Platform’ for various exchanges in the basic science fields beyond the boundaries, it provides the fields of cultural communication with existing campus, convergence among different science fields, and research exchanges to promote knowledge sharing among researchers.
