‘G-WELCOM CITY’ is a large community residential complex that will be a landmark of Dong-gu, Ulsan dreaming a new cultural city. The site faces mountains and the ocean, also are adjacent to excellent educational facilities. Therefore, we focused on consideration of the urban context and various interactions with its surroundings rather than the completion of the apartment. Specially, we enhanced feasibility by planning all units that face south to minimize view interference of surrounding apartments and be flat-type units to make counter-ventilation. Also, we expect that the specialized community streets utilizing various level of the ground in the site become a new local attraction instead of the outdated commercial facilities around them.
